Chances are if you’ve played golf in South Florida,  the course may have been designed by Kipp Schulties.

Kipp Schulties is a successful golf course designer.

He has redesigned over 40 courses, mostly in South Florida.

Due to the recent economy, many architects haven't seen much work when it comes to designing new golf courses these days, but Schulties has remained busy re-designing and renovating existing courses.

Schulties has even renovated courses that were originally designed by the games best like Jack Nicklaus, Greg Norman and Arnold Palmer.

“Typically the good gold course architects left a pretty good foundation to start with. We've changed in how we do shaping and how we do shaping and drainage characteristics,” said Schulties.

The Kipp Schulties Golf Design company usually works on four to five different projects throughout the year.
