Former Miami Dolphins defensive tackle Igor Olshansky was arrested on a marijuana possession charge at his Fort Lauderdale condo on Thursday afternoon, according to an arrest report.

The Broward Sheriff's Office, participating in a multi-agency drug operation, found Olshansky, 29, rolling a marijuana cigarette at his kitchen table at 3:20 p.m. at his home at Point of Americas at 2200 S. Ocean Lane, a sheriff's arrest report said.

Olshansky, a Ukraine native, was held on one count of possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana, the report said. On Friday morning, he was freed from jail after posting $100 bond.

The one-page arrest report did not state what led investigators to Olshansky's home. It was unclear whether he had a lawyer. A spokesperson for the Dolphins couldn't be immediately reached for comment.

Olshansky is an NFL journeyman who has spent several years playing in the trenches. He was viewed as a pleasant surprise as a late addition to the Dolphins roster, but a calf injury forced him to miss last Thursday's game.

The Dolphins surprisingly released him injured on Wednesday and re-signed Ryan Baker, the defensive end he initially replaced.
