BOCA RATON, Fla. -- If there's one guy who's seen just how far the FAU football program has come since day one it's Jared Allen.
Allen is the tight ends coach for the Owls and a founding member of the football team. In 2001, he scored the first offensive touchdown in Florida Atlantic football history.
The school holds a big place in Allen's heart and head coach Carl Pelini saw that right away when he was hired on December 5, 2011 and knew how important it was to keep Allen on his staff.
Allen's story doesn't stop there.
