PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - The 19th Annual Father's Day Extravaganza Baseball Tournament is underway in Palm Beach Gardens.
The Cal Ripken/Babe Ruth League all-star event features 60 teams from around the state of Florida.
It's a week-long tournament with young competitors playing tee ball, and age groups all the way up through 15.
"This is the best of the best recreational programs. This gets them to play an advanced level of baseball and work at it and see different types of all stars. So it's a challenge to the kids. They have fun. They get to play teams from Key West who's coming up tomorrow (Friday). Jacksonville. Places they don't get to see and play baseball," said Palm Beach Gardens Baseball President Dave Rosenthal.
