The Swedish military says the wreckage of a Soviet submarine, that disappeared during World War II, has been found in the Baltic Sea.
It was found southeast of the Baltic island of Oland, in an area that had been mined by Germany.
The military said in a statement that evidence pointed towards a mine as the reason the sub sank.
Swedish authorities have informed Russia about the find so a memorial service can be conducted at the site if they choose.
