WASHINGTON (AP) -- It has not been officially confirmed, but U.S. officials say it looks like yesterday's drone strike in Yemen that killed Anwar al-Awlaki and another American al-Qaida propagandist also killed al-Qaida's top bomb-maker in the country.
Ibrahaim al-Asiri has been linked to the failed Christmas, 2009 airline bombing and last year's attempted cargo plane bombing.
Al-Asiri's death would make the attack perhaps the most successful single drone strike ever.
