A person was transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center after sustaining serious injuries after being struck by a train in Jupiter, said Captain Albert Borroto, spokesman for Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) -- An official says 33 people are believed to be dead after a passenger bus plunged into a deep ravine near a Malaysian highland resort.
Fire department official Azizan Ismail says 16 people survived the accident Wednesday in Malaysia's central Genting Highlands area.
He says the bus fell about 200 feet into a ravine while traveling downhill.
He had no immediate details about the identities of the passengers on the bus, but most were believed to be Malaysians.
