(CNN) -- A magnitude 6.0 earthquake struck off the Pacific coast of Costa Rica on Thursday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The quake, at a depth of nearly 26 miles, was centered about 27 miles west of Sardinal, Costa Rica. It happened at 6:29 a.m. (8:29 a.m. ET).
