A bus driver in eastern China is accused of attacking a woman in the middle of a busy street and trying to chew off her face, nydailynews.com reported from Chinese media information.
The man, identified by authorities as "Dong," ran into the road near a bus station around 2 p.m. on June 26, and jumped in front of a woman's car, nydailynews.com reports.
After jumping on the hood of her car and pounding the windshield the woman exited her vehicle and Dong tackled her, the report states. He then began chewing her face.
According to Chinese media, witnesses tried to stop the attack, but Dong was too strong.
According to nydailynews.com , the woman was taken to a local hospital with tears to her lips and nose.
Authorities said the man drank alcohol before the attack, according to the report.
