An online protest is taking place right now via Facebook. It was organized by the Disabled American Veterans, a non-profit charity for America’s disabled veterans and their families.

As of right now, 52,830 people are participating in the virtual march on Washington by posting their personal stories and explaining what compensation and benefits mean to them.

President Obama says that if the debt ceiling is not raised by August 2nd, veterans and senior citizens may face budget cuts first.
