The possibility of high winds and heavy rain have forced local school districts to be on high alert.
Right now, public schools in Palm Beach County and along the Treasure Coast are scheduled to be open on Monday.
School leaders will continue to monitor Isaac's path throughout the weekend and they will adjust any plans accordingly.
If sustained winds reach 35 mph in Palm Beach County, the school district will stop all school buses from operating. However, winds are expected to stay well below that threshold.
Parents and students are advised to stay alert and stay tuned in over the weekend. Any changes to school plans will be posted on school district websites and will be announced on local media outlets.
