BOCA RATON, Fla. - There were music, celebrities, and lots of pink.
The Mizner Park Amphitheater was flooded by sea of people Saturday, coming together to raise awareness for breast cancer.
"Knowledge is power with information you can save your own life," said Stephanie Robin, founder Think Pink Rocks.
Robin is a Boca Raton cancer survivor.
"Had I know about it, I probably wouldn't gotten checked more often and never gotten to stage 4," said Robin.
This is the cancer charity concert's 3rd year in Boca Raton.
This year the star studded lineup included Shontelle, Asher Roth, and 50 Cent, Flo Rida, and Pitbull.
They joined a long list of stars reaching out to young people, and drawing large crowds.
"The restaurants are thrilled, the city is thrilled, this is what the amphitheater is all about, said Susan Whelchel, mayor of Boca Raton.
"Yes they are all here for the concert , but they all know it's for breast cancer and we are saving lives," said Robin.
All the money raised Saturday will go towards breast cancer research that will hopefully lead to a cure.
