FORT WORTH, Texas - A life-and-death rescue operation happened after a tanker truck dangled over the edge of an overpass in Fort Worth, Texas. The driver was trapped inside the cab of the truck.
The tanker truck crashed on I-20 westbound near Fort Worth, Texas. Live cameras rolled as rescue workers tried to save the driver.
Firefighters say the crash happened around 4 a.m. Central Time. They say the truck hit a small car and ended up sliding partially off the edge of a ramp.
A rescue team used a ladder truck and harness to pull the driver of the truck from the cab of the truck as it dangled over the side.
The truck driver and two people in the car are all receiving medical treatment. No word yet on how seriously they are hurt.
