A new report by the Washington Economics Group compiled the top five places to retire based on climate and affordability. It turns out that the most ideal location for baby boomers to nestle in for the long haul is Florida’s capital, Tallahassee.

Other contesters for the top retirement cities are:

- Atlanta  

-  Tuscaloosa, Ala.

- Athens, Ga.

- Memphis, Tenn.
