Three East Naples residents are facing felony charges after they entered a man's home and severely beat him, causing many of his facial bones to break and his eye to be split in half.
Elizabeth Sexton-Palmer, 36, Danielle Wilson, 40, and Michael Palmer, 36, of the 11200 block of U.S. 41, were arrested Wednesday by Collier County sheriff's deputies in the 8000 block of Lely Cultural Parkway.
According to arrest reports, the three entered the man's home without his permission and began punching him several times in the face. The victim's roommate told deputies he ran into the room, trying to stop them from punching him in the face anymore, and observed them demanding the victim for $100 but then fled the scene.
The victim was transported to NCH North Collier Hospital, where he was treated for multiple fractures to the left side of his face and broken nasal, orbital and cheek bones, according to reports.
Deputies said that in addition to the broken bones, the victim suffered a ruptured globe in his left eye, causing his eyeball to split vertically.
Due to the victim's severe injuries, Sexton-Palmer, Wilson, and Palmer, are all facing felony charges of aggravated battery with disfigurement.
