(CNN) ORLANDO, Fla. -- Authorities in Orange County are investigating the death of a British businessman at a resort in Orlando, Florida.
The body of 43-year-old Simon Latham was discovered Saturday morning in a pond at the Caribe Royale resort.
Officials say Latham's brother-in-law found him just before 8 a-m.
Latham was last seen on Thursday leaving the hotel lounge.
Jeff Williamson with the Orange County Sheriff's Office says they're waiting for the medical examiner's report.
Latham lived in South Korea and was visiting Orlando with his brother-in-law to attend a conference.
