Shark video: Florida shark sightings close Deerfield Beach

Sightings of sharks has closed Deerfield Beach.

Thursday morning a one mile stretch was closed as a precaution.

"We saw maybe 3 or 4 sharks they were circling so we closed the area and we expect things to pick up in the coming weeks," said Rebecca Medina, Deerfield Beach public information officer.

Sharks migrate along the Florida shore at this time of year.

The beach was expected to reopen in the afternoon.
