SARASOTA, Fla. - A man was airlifted to a hospital following what authorities are calling a "road rage" incident on a Sarasota road.
The incident occurred Sunday night on Bee Ridge Road.
The Sarasota Herald-Tribune reports deputies found the man with stab wounds when they responded to a 911 call about the altercation.
Witnesses told deputies the victim was also struck by a car as the suspects fled the scene.
Deputies are looking for a man and a woman who may be traveling in a faded-red early 1990s compact car.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office.
The condition of the victim was not released. No further details were immediately available.
