HOLLY HILL, FL - An argument over how to best cook pork chops may have been what led to a deadly altercation between two roommates in Holly Hill, Florida.

A man said two of his roommates were bickering over pork chops, which led to a deadly shooting.

Police say Tom Hahn and the victim Robert Gray had a history of not getting along.

A police report shows Hahn told his two other roommates that he would shoot Gray if he came home drunk.

Roommates say he even loaded his .22 caliber rifle with three bullets and said, “That should be enough.”

Police say they’re not sure if Gray was drunk when he came home at 10 p.m. Tuesday. But roommates say Gray yelled at Hahn about his pork chops not being cooked properly.

Hahn went for his rifle and shot at Gray three times, hitting him twice in the head. A roommate called 911.

Hahn told police that Gray did not hit him, but Hahn claims he shot in self defense, stating, “He did not want to be attacked anymore.”

Hahn was charged with one count of second-degree murder.

Police say additional charges are pending.
