Orlando's police chief says Dale Smith Jr, the former fiancé of missing Florida mother Michelle Parker, is a primary suspect in her disappearance, the Orlando Sentinel reports.
Parker went missing after her appearance on "The People's Court" aired. Parker and her ex-boyfriend appeared on the show to resolve a dispute about a $5,000 engagement ring.
Smith Jr. is the last person known to have seen Parker before she vanished Nov. 17, the Sentinel reported.
Police say Parker's SUV was found the next day, causing family members to believe she was carjacked.
They said it was unlike Parker to disappear because she has three children and a job as a bartender.
According to wesh.com police said earlier Monday that they found nothing of significance in a raid over the weekend connected to Parker's disappearance and have no plans to arrest Smith at this point.
The police chief says Smith had refused to take a polygraph test and that there are no other suspects.
