A high speed chase that began in Collier County Tuesday morning ended when law enforcement officers in Broward County stopped the vehicle.
The Collier County Sheriff's Office put out a be on the lookout (BOLO) for a black Chrysler 300 luxury sedan that was involved in a North Naples burglary this morning.
Just after 10 a.m., a Collier deputy attempted to pull over a car matching that description at the 96 mile marker Alligator Alley, just east of the toll booth.
“The vehicle failed to yield and fled the scene,” sheriff's Office spokeswoman Jamie Mosbach said. “A pursuit continued, but we broke it off at the 21 mile marker.”
Police in Broward had a description of the vehicle which was spotted and pursued through a residential neighborhood. WSVN reports three people ended up bailing out near 33rd Way and Northwest Eighth Court.
All three men, Jeremy Marquis, Darius Rashaad Hall and James Steel, were suspects in a possible home invasion robbery in Naples. The men are now in custody.
