PORT RICHEY, Fla. (AP) -- Authorities say a man who shot at his neighbor also tried to run over a Pasco County Sheriff's deputy.
The incident happened late Thursday.
Deputies say a man fired a gun at his neighbor during an argument. The neighbor also returned fire and no one was injured. The man who fired first got in his vehicle and fled. A deputy who was responding to the initial call pulled him over. That's when the man tried to run over the deputy.
The deputy fired several shots at the vehicle as the man drove away. Another deputy pulled him over a short distance away. The man was taken into custody early Friday. His name has not been released and no further details were immediately available.
