TAMPA, Fla. - An injured seabird was rescued Friday along Tampa's Bayshore Boulevard by concerned residents.
Residents spotted the osprey in the water with an injured leg.
They were able to reach the bird with a kayak and scoop it out of the water with a pool net, according to witnesses.
The Tampa Audubon Society responded and transported the bird to The Busch Garden's animal hospital.
