PALM SPRINGS, Fla. - Looking for a job? With the opening of a new Walmart store in Palm Springs, there are hundreds of opportunities waiting for you.
Applicants are lining up for their opportunity in Palm Springs at the temporary hiring center.
The 300 people hired will start work in mid-December to prepare for the store's opening. The new store will open its doors to the public in January.
Walmart has partnered with Goodwill and the South Florida Workforce Alliance in their hiring center. Pre-screening interviews are taking place at the temporary location.
The store is hiring 300 full-time and part-time associates for supervisory, managerial, cashier and floor staff positions, according to a press release.
The hiring center is located at 2925 10th Ave, #108 in Palm Springs.
