She didn't quite hit Powerball, but Maria Henriquez, 25, of Miami, claimed a $2 million Powerball prize from the Aug. 8 drawing.

She hit five of five white balls, but missed on the red Powerball. Henriquez’s winning ticket was purchased from Publix, located at 1525 SW 107th Ave. in Miami.

Since January, when Powerball increased the prize from $1 million to $2 million for matching 5 of 5 winning numbers on a Powerball with Power Play ticket, Henriquez is the eighth Florida player to become a Powerball multi-millionaire.

In total, Florida players have won 61 Powerball prizes of $1 million or more.
