TAMPA, Fla. - Michael Lohan, the father of actress Lindsay Lohan, is under arrest again.
Officers say Kate Major, Lohan's ex-girlfriend, contacted Tampa law enforcement Wednesday night about a harassing phone call from Lohan. While officers were at Major's apartment, Lohan called again.
Major placed the call on speaker phone so officers could listen in, according to TPD.
Police then contacted the State Attorney's Office which authorized the arrest of Lohan.
Officers went to the Tahitian Inn on Dale Mabry, were Lohan had been staying, to arrest him.
When they arrived, Lohan spotted the officers. He then jumped from a third story balcony and began to run, according to TPD.
He was caught after a short foot pursuit and placed in handcuffs.
Paramedics checked Lohan out on scene and he was transported to the Hillsborough County Jail.
As Lohan was being booked, correction officials thought he may have a broken foot. He was taken to Tampa General for evaluation.
The bizarre set of circumstances surrounding lohan began early Monday when he was arrested for domestic battery.
Kate Major told officers Lohan had beat her, smashed her cell phone and threatened to throw her from a fourth-floor balcony.
He had recently been under a restraining order which was reinstated on Tuesday.
At a court appearance on Wednesday, Hillsborough Judge Walter Heinrich warned Lohan, "If you even dream about her (Major) and violate my order, you will go to jail."
He was released later that day on $5,000 bail.
