George Zimmerman witnesses change their accounts in Trayvon Martin shooting case

A newly released medical report in the Trayvon Martin case says George Zimmerman had scalp wounds, black eyes and a broken nose from their altercation the night he fatally shot the Florida teenager.

SANFORD, Fla. -- Four key witnesses in the second-degree-murder case against George Zimmerman have made major changes in what they say they saw and heard the night Zimmerman fatally shot 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in Sanford, The Orlando Sentinel is reporting.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, three new witness accounts could damage Zimmerman's defense.

The Sentinel reports a fourth witness abandoned her initial story, that she saw one person chasing another. Now, she says she saw a single figure running.
