SANFORD, Fla. -  A newly-surfaced surveillance tape from the night George Zimmerman killed Trayvon Martin is raising new questions.

It shows the neighborhood watch leader at the Sanford, Florida police station.

Zimmerman's lawyer has said he believes his client's nose was broken and the back of his head was cut during the incident.

The video doesn't show a close-up of Zimmerman's head.

Casey Anthony's former attorney, Jose Baez, says that doesn't mean Zimmerman didn't suffer injuries.

He spoke to CNN's Anderson Cooper about the tape.

I don't think you can tell much from the tape. This is an after-the-fact situation where obviously at the scene he was spoken to. He might have been cleaned up there. We don't know the exact extent of what occurred at the scene. Whether he was actually looked at by EMT. If he was, he was cleaned up and then put in cuffs and taken away. How often do you see someone get knocked out, perhaps even in a boxing match and then walk back to the dressing room. This after the fact doesn't not tell you much,” Baez said.

Zimmerman says he shot Trayvon Martin in self-defense.

He has not been charged, police say, because they don't have evidence to contradict his story.

Martin's family and supporters say an arrest is long overdue.

Martin's mother, Sybrina Fulton, said "this video is the icing on the cake."

"This is not the first part of the evidence that they have had," Fulton said. "They have had the 911 tapes and they have also had witnesses. This is in addition to what the Sanford police department has always has. This video is clear evidence that there is some problem with this case and he needs to be arrested."
