A BigMac may only be a phone call away and an Egg McMuffin could be an afternoon snack if McDonald’s follows through with some ideas for the fast food restaurant.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Students taking the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test can get a free breakfast on the first day of testing at participating McDonald's restaurants.

The free breakfast includes an Egg McMuffin, choice of milk or a small orange juice, and apple slices. The offer is available only on April 16, from 6 to 8:30 a.m., while supplies last. Students under age 15 must be accompanied by a parent and the child must be present to redeem the offer. The offer is in-store only and no substitutions or group redemptions are permitted.

Many schools also serve free breakfast the morning of the FCAT. Parents can check with their child's school to find out whether a free breakfast is offered.
