(WFLA) The lunchtime crowd at "Taco Fusion" in Tampa, Florida is just like any other.
But what's on the menu isn't.
There are tacos with exotic meats like bison, shark and ostrich.
And then there are the latest menu items which include lion.
"Our whole thought process of bringing the exotic meats to the Tampa Bay area was to give people the opportunity to try different things that they normally wouldn't get to try," says manager Brad Barnett.
The restaurant, which has only been open since February, started serving the lion tacos about four weeks ago.
The lion meat comes from an approved distributor and is raised for the purpose of human consumption.
Still, not all of the customers at "Taco Fusion" think offering lion is good idea.
