SARASOTA COUNTY, Fla. - It wasn't hard for investigators to find a Florida man accused of making several bomb threats.

Monday night three calls were place to the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office.

The caller dialed the county's communications center and said he had placed 350 pounds of explosives at 2070 Ringling Boulevard.

The man wanted to see activity by the bomb squad and said he would detonate the explosives if his demands weren't met.

Sarasota Police quickly discovered that the call came from an inmate inside the Sarasota County Jail.

It was traced to Mark Grobmyer of Venice. Police say he has been jailed since July 5th for robbery and grand theft auto.

Now he also faces 3 more charges: Making a false report of a bomb.
