A Florida Highway Patrol vehicle in Miami was found smeared with feces Sunday while parked in front of a trooper's home, according to an FHP report.
Trooper Joe Sanchez found the feces spread on his patrol car at 10:15 a.m., FHP reports.
Sanchez said when he last saw his patrol car at 6:45 a.m., he did not notice anything "wrong or unusual."
IBS Hazmat Company arrived to the scene to clean the mess.
Police are investigating whether the incident is connected with the recent controversy surrounding a reckless-driving charge against a Miami police officer by an FHP trooper, in which the officer was caught on video going speeds reportedly up to 122 miles per hour.
Currently investigators have no suspects.
