KISSIMMEE, Fla. - A three-alarm fire has destroyed a 430 room hotel in Kissimmee. Guests were evacuated Sunday night from the Vacation Lodge on US 192, located about a mile from Disney's Animal Kingdom park.

There are no reports of serious injuries, but about a dozen people staying at the hotel were treated for smoke inhalation.

Firefighters responded to the call around 10:15 p.m. Sunday.

"We’re dumping large amounts of wire, hands lines, fire trucks everything we can to try to fight this fire and knock it down,” Deputy Chief Daniel McAvoy, of the Osceola County Fire Rescue told WFTV.

The blaze caused the roof to collapse and massive flames could still be seen after 8 a.m. Monday. Several vehicles in the parking lot also caught fire.

33 units were called in to fight the fire.

“Next thing I know someone come knocking on my door, saying the building is on fire," said hotel guest Robert Lewis.

Earlier this month, guests were literally left in the dark when hotel management didn't pay the electric bill.

There's no word on how the fire started. According to one Orlando news outlet, the blaze began in a hotel room and spread from there.

About 150 people staying at the hotel were displaced.
