BROOKSVILLE - A Brooksville woman busted a window and sprayed her cousin with pepper spray after the two argued over Facebook, Hernando County deputies said.
Danitra Hicks, 22, was charged with battery for pepper spraying her cousin Dortenisa Carr, deputies said.
According to deputies, Hicks and Carr argued all weekend over Facebook. Hicks left her home and drove to Carr's house and repeatedly honked the horn, deputies said.
When Hicks did not respond, Carr began banging on the window of the home where Carr lived, eventually breaking it.
Deputies said Hicks then sprayed Carr in the face and eyes with pepper spray and went home.
"Facebook can lead to drama," said Sheriff's Corporal Wendy McGinnis. "It's crazy what some people will do."
