LAKE PANASOFFKEE, Fla. — The Florida Highway Patrol is reporting a series of crashes on Interstate 75 involving 26 vehicles.
Sgt. Steve Gaskins says troopers are responding to about six crashes along I-75 in Sumter County Sunday afternoon.
The crashes involve more than two dozen vehicles that were reportedly driving in rainy conditions. No fatalities have been reported. All injuries appear to be minor.
The northbound lanes of the highway have been closed and drivers are being urged to seek alternate routes.
