WEST MIAMI DADE COUNTY, Fla. - A Florida driver's vehicle was impaled on a guardrail on the Dolphin Expressway.
It happened Monday afternoon in West-Miami Dade County.
Police say the driver admitted he may have nodded off behind the wheel.
The guardrail went right through the front grille into the passenger's side of the Toyota Scion ... then continued about 20-feet out the rear window.
Amazingly, the driver suffered only a minor injury.
But he was arrested at the scene.
It turns out he has quite a driving history.
Police say he's a habitual offender with a suspended license
