Driver dies in Turnpike tractor trailer crash in Broward County on Saturday

A tractor trailer was traveling northbound on the Turnpike in Broward County Saturday when, for an unknown reason, the driver lost control at 4:27pm.
According to Broward County Public Affair Officer Mark Wysocky, the tractor trailer overturned on its right side and slid along the east shoulder causing the vehicle to catch on fire and become engulfed in flames.
The driver, who has not been identified yet, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The truck was hauling boxes of tomatoes.
