WASHINGTON, D.C. - - Associate Attorney General Thomas Perrelli sent a letter to Ken Feinberg, the head of the gulf coast claims facility, saying transparency is needed so victims can see they're being treated fairly.
In the letter sent Friday, Perrelli expressed concerns about the pace of the pay-out process as the fund begins to pay interim and final claims.
Feinberg says he's already dispersed about two billion dollars out of the 20-billion dollar fund.
