Two patients were transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center after sustaining serious injuries in a rollover accident in West Palm Beach, said Captain Albert Borroto, spokesman for Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.

BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. - A 35-year-old Lantana man died early Sunday morning after losing control of his motorcycle on Interstate 95 in Broward County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Derrick Raynard Thomas was traveling north on I-95 around 1:26 a.m. when he lost control of the 2004 Kawasaki motorcycle near Stirling Road and struck a crash cushion along the side of the interstate.
Thomas, who was wearing a helmet, was thrown into a canal. The motorcycle continued off the road and into trees where it burst into flames.
Thomas was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Sgt. Mark Wysocky.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
