If you are traveling through the Orlando area for the Memorial Day weekend, be advised that a five-acre brush fire in Orange County is sending up heavy smoke in the area around many attractions and theme parks.
WFTV is reporting that traffic has been stopped on I-4 eastbound at Osceola Parkway. Smoke has caused limited visibility in the International Drive area.
Clickorlando.com is reporting that flames are burning near the base of a cellphone tower, which crews are working to protect.
