MELBOURNE — The U.S. Coast Guard has towed to shore a boat that was found adrift off Florida's Atlantic coast with a man's body on board.
Petty Officer Nick Ameen tells Florida Today that the body of a 72-year-old man was found Friday aboard a recreational boat found drifting eight miles off Sebastian Inlet.
The Coast Guard towed the boat to Fort Pierce on Friday night.
Ameen says the body will be turned over to the medical examiner, who will determine cause of death.
The man's name was not released. The Coast Guard says there were no signs of foul play.
