MERRITT ISLAND, Fla. - A Merritt Island homeowner called in professionals after he found a stranger in his hot tub.
The uninvited four-foot house guest was an alligator who was discovered swimming around in his temporary home.
"By coincidence, I just happened to be sitting down watching an episode of Gator Boys when my dog alerted me and wanted to come out. And that's when I saw it," said homeowner Walt Marshall.
The pool is surrounded by a screened fence and Marshall isn't sure how the gator managed to get in.
A trapper caught the critter and hauled it away.
