A person was transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center after sustaining serious injuries after being struck by a train in Jupiter, said Captain Albert Borroto, spokesman for Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - A Jacksonville man suffered serious injuries when he dove into a lake and didn't surface.
The Florida Times-Union reports 51-year-old Scott Allen Hamner was visiting family in Clay County Thursday afternoon.
Around 4 p.m. he dove into Kingsley Lake.
Family members pulled him from the lake and started performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
He was taken to a hospital in Starke and then transferred to another hospital in Gainesville.
The Clay County Sheriff's Office says he was in serious condition.
