5 arrested in Orlo Vista dogfighting investigation, 6 dogs found alive

Five people were arrested Saturday on charges of operating a dogfighting ring in an Orange County neighborhood, according to WESH-TV.

An anonymous tip led authorities to the Orlo Vista, Florida home where they found one dead dog and six that were alive.

Authorities said the six dogs had injuries consistent with dogfighting.

The dogs were taken by Animal Control. Their conditions were not known.
