MIAMI (AP) -- Fire officials report three people were struck by lightning during a storm in Miami-Dade County.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue says three men were struck by lightning Friday while working on a pickup truck.
One of the men went into cardiac arrest but was revived and taken to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital. A second man was also hospitalized for burns. A third victim suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital in Homestead.
NBC Miami (http://bit.ly/Ma8IoA ) reports the lightning strike occurred during day of intense weather. There were also reports of hail in several areas of Miami-Dade and Monroe counties.
