OFF THE COAST OF KEY BISCAYNE, Fla. - Twenty-two shipping containers fell off a barge and into the ocean off the coast of Florida, according to the Coast Guard.

Another two dozen were left leaning at a precarious angle on Monday, barely hanging onto the barge.

It pulled into Port Everglades Tuesday, and crews began carefully unloading the containers.

Coast Guard officials say they were able to find four that were still floating.

But authorities say the rest probably sank.

The Coast Guard said some containers were carrying hazardous materials, but there is no threat.
