TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) -- Police say two people were stabbed at a Florida State University dormitory.
The Tallahassee Democrat ( http://on.tdo.com/FOjKsG ) reports a male and female student have been hospitalized in serious but stable condition.
Campus police issued an alert at 3:30 p.m. Thursday stating they were responding to a double stabbing at Ragans Hall. Authorities said there were no assailants at large, but advised students to use caution and avoid the area.
About twenty minutes later, another alert was released telling students there was no threat and that they could return to their normal activities.
The newspaper reports the female is a student at the university. Authorities are still trying to determine if the male is as well.
