Sometimes typing a message on a flat screen can be frustrating.

But that process might become a little less frustrating.

Tactus, a California company, has developed technology that can turn a flat tablet screen into a keyboard with bumpy button, according to the BBC .

The keyboard bumps rise up from the screen when you need them and disappear when typing is finished.

The company debuted the new technology at CES in Las Vegas.
