Twitter technical glitch

If you can't sign on to Twitter today -- check your inbox.

 

You probably have an email from the site telling you to reset your password. There was a rumor that Twitter itself had been hacked and that's why the email went out. However, that's not true.

 

Twitter resets passwords to accounts it believes may have been compromised. And today, it unintentionally sent that email to a larger number of accounts.
