Carrie Fisher is open to the idea of joining the cast of Disney's upcoming "Star Wars" films, but that doesn't mean it's a done deal.

While the actress told Palm Beach Illustrated that she's set to reprise her role of Princess Leia, it seems she was pulling someone's leg.

"She was joking," a rep for Fisher told CNN about the star's comment. "Nothing has been announced."

When and if something is announced, though, we'll be interested to see if it falls in line with Fisher's vision of what her character would be like today.

"Elderly. She's in an intergalactic old folks' home," Fisher laughed. "I just think she would be just like she was before, only slower and less inclined to be up for the big battle."
